Why join?
NCALAM provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, networking, and high quality continuing education. The annual membership fee is only $20.00 a year until March 15th. After March 15th, the fee increases to $30 for the year. The membership fee includes:
NOTE: Associate Members (e.g., veterinary students) and Laboratory Animal Medicine Residents DO NOT have to pay dues.
- Local continuing education meetings twice a year on topics that impact the regional, national and global laboratory animal community.
- Access to the Member’s Only section of the NCALAM website.
- Updates on networking opportunities and local, regional, and national laboratory animal events.
- A platform to share ideas and approaches.
- Access to the list of North Carolina laboratory animal veterinarians for information sharing, including position openings, answers to questions, and announcements to the laboratory animal veterinary community.
- The chance to influence the organization’s direction by holding a board or officer position, participating on a subcommittee, or volunteering for special projects.
- Participation in the annual elections.
- Support of the local laboratory animal community through NCALAM sponsored workshops, veterinary student travel awards, and more.
- Support and network with North Carolina laboratory animal residents and veterinary students interested in laboratory animal medicine.
